Pregnant in Colorado? You already know fall weather (and let's face it, most of the year) is a crap-shoot around here. That makes planning outfits challenging for everyone. Today, I'm focusing on maternity outfits for fall. I've rounded up some great outfit inspiration from my "Stylish (and Comfortable) Maternity Outfits" Pinterest board with ideas to help you combat the wacky ups and downs of Denver, Colorado, in the fall.
If I've learned one thing living in Denver, it's: you gotta layer (and always have a poncho or light rain coat stashed in the car!). Here are four fall maternity outfit ideas:
Fall Maternity Outfit Ideas
1. Striped cotton dress with chambray shirt or denim jacket
This adorable outfit is perfect for running errands in and around Denver in the fall. It's from Becky Hillyard's blog and I have to say I would like this for my non-maternity wardrobe!
2. Navy blue tie front long sleeved dress
I love how cute, yet practical this long sleeved navy maternity dress is from Gap. You could add a sweater coat or jacket like this long cardigan from Pea in the Pod and wear it with white sneakers or knee high boots. Perfect for work or running errands like a mad woman because you are nesting ;). (Been there, done that!)
3. Skinny jeans, blazer, and flats
This cute fall maternity outfit is perfect for casual Friday at the office, or for brunch with the family. I love the way she used a belt at the top of her baby bump to add some definition and subtle flair. Plus, the ripped jeans are trendy and comfortable.
The flats are dressy, yet comfortable (although, I can't even wear flats when I'm not pregnant...we're all different!). And if you get hot during the day, this outfit without the blazer is still a professional and weather appropriate fall maternity outfit.
4. Skinny jeans, white tank, and flower kimono
I love the easy and comfortable look of skinny jeans and a loose, flowy wrap or kimono with booties. It's dressy, but you'll feel like you're wearing pajamas which is always the goal isn't it? Or am I on an island?
I hope these ideas have inspired you to get ready for Fall! For more maternity outfit inspiration, follow my Pinterest board, "Stylish (and Comfortable) Maternity Outfits." And for Denver and/or Colorado readers, here are three local maternity stores to help you build your Fall maternity wardrobe.
